First Trip to the Doctor

Carter had to go see Dr. Newman on Monday, at one week old, and then again the following Tuesday, at two weeks old.

By the two week checkup, Carter's umbilical cord had fallen off and he weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. He had gained an entire pound in just one week! Dr. Newman jokingly asked if we were feeding him meat and potatoes already.

Thanks to Nana and Aunt Shelby for going to the doctor with me. I was too nervous to drive him there by myself at the one week checkup (red outfit) but was okay for the two week (blue outfit).
