The First Month

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Life is busy, hectic, chaotic, but so much fun. I am enjoying being off with Cole and am trying hard to spend lots of time with Carter each afternoon and over the weekend.

Carter & Cole after baths...Carter's hair is so long in the front, we brush it to the side to dry so it doesn't hang in his eyes :)

The Boys Pictures Together

Last Saturday morning, we had the boys' pictures made...separate and together. They both did great - Cole was awake the whole time and Carter smiled and hammed it up for the camera. There were NO TEARS, believe it or not!

Cole's Newborn Portraits

On Cole's 16th day in the world, we took him to Lasting Expressions and had newborn portraits made by the same photographer that shot Carter's pictures when he was 12 days old. We had a great time and I appreciate my mom so much for going with me and helping decide on the best shots!

Easter Pics

Easter was the most hectic day we've had yet...we went to church, headed to my cousin's house for an Easter egg hunt with my side of the family, then headed to Derrick's parent's house for an egg hunt for his side of the family. We were gone from the house for about 10 hours...but luckily, I didn't forget anything for either of the boys - an Easter miracle for sure!

More Cole Pics, Easter, and More!

Here are some more pics from the last week or so of the boys. We had a great Easter - Carter got way too much candy and a huge stuffed bunny (from my dad) and Cole got an outfit and little stuffed bunny.

The Saturday before Easter, we went and had the boys' picture made with the Easter bunny...turned out that Carter cried (and so did Cole), so mom and dad had to be in the picture as well...oh well!

Cole's First Week
