Big Daddy's Birthday

Yesterday, August 10 was my dad's birthday...he turned 58, and has been one of Carter's most favorite people since he was born. Here are a couple of pictures of the very low key festivities. Derrick and I cooked dinner - mashed potatoes, chicken, green beans, and rolls, and we had an ice cream cake for dessert. Dad got some gift cards (from Carter & GiGi), cologne and out to eat gift cards from Mom. It was a great night :)

GiGi - my baby girl who is almost 7 is undergoing some tests for health issues. She has a bad infection / deteriorated bone in her left rear leg and can't put any pressure on it to walk or sit down. I feel so bad for her and hope we have an answer soon as to what exactly is wrong. She was the grandbaby / baby for a long while before Carter and Katlin arrived and is still very important to all of us.
